Fashionistas, I can’t believe it’s almost been a week already since July 4th! I just got back from vacation, and if you can believe it, I’m still in the holiday spirit. I could work from the beach all day, every day!
For the holiday, I headed to Rehoboth Beach, DE with my whole family to relax, catch some rays and get caught up on some much needed sleep.
On each day of my trip, I made sure to rock my most fun and summery vintage looks, including on the Fourth of July!
I’m not usually that patriotic, nor do I ever do anything special for the holiday, however, this year made me feel a little more festive. I think it was the ocean waves paired with a whole week off ;).
I picked out this red, white and blue look and made fashion strides all along the boardwalk.
I wore my H&M high-waisted blue washed shorts, and my new-to-me structured sculpture-like strapless blue and white striped top from the Gaithersburg store.
There was no brand tag in it, but for under $2, I couldn’t pass it up!
To round out my look, I popped on my kid’s Old Navy black and tan sandals along with my recently acquired under $5 beloved large vintage gold earrings from another DC Goodwill store.
Although this ensemble had fewer pieces than most of my recent DC Goodwill outfits, the simplicity of only wearing a few statement items did just the trick. I still received compliments, I maintained optimal comfort, all while sporting the fourth holiday spirit.
How did you spend your 4th, fashionistas? Did you rock any Goodwill threads?
